How Can I Get In Shape for Soccer QUICKLY?

I want to start training for the high school team, and I’m kinda out of shape.
I really wanna get my endurance up. My dribbling and controlling are perfect. I just need to work on the speed. Any ideas?

Many exercises, like shuttle runs will help you build up your speed, endurance, and agility for soccer.

If you don’t have cones, use some sort of marker, or find a football field with the hash marks on it. Instead of touching cones, reach down and touch your hand to the ground at each designated spot.

Also, while you say your dribbling and controlling are perfect, it is important that you continue to practice and improve those skills as well.

If at all possible, The best way to get into playing shape quickly is to play!

Try to find a pickup game in your area. If that’s not possible, see if you can get a group of friends or family together to play a game.

If you don’t have enough players for a full 11 a side game, it’s ok, just play in a smaller area. Small sided games are used by coaches at all levels because they are faster paced and you get more touches on the ball. Also, you’ll likely have to make more movement, so you’ll get in shape that much faster.
