“Butt Kickers” are an excellent exercise that serve both as a great warm-up and also train player speed by improving running form and increasing stride frequency.
Begin at a normal jogging pace
While jogging, instead of simply back swinging with their leg, players pull their heel up so that it touches their glute (hence the name “butt kickers”)
As the leg bends, players knees should come forward so that their quad is parallel to the ground.
